P8-S Series Limit Switched Actuators
The P8-S series is the limit-switched variant of our robust P8 actuator lineup. They feature internal, non-adjustable limit switches, an anodized aluminum outer shaft and all-metal gearbox, all within our most compact design yet. With a maximum force of 155N (35lbs) the P8-S is the ideal choice for applications where small size, high power and simple control are priorities.
The P8-S can be used with a number of Actuonix accessories including our external limit switch kit, our remote control kit, timer relay, rocker switches and more. As with our other S-Series actuators, the P8-S is a simple, 2-wire device that is controlled by switching polarity.

- 10mm. 25mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm stroke lengths available
- 3 gearing options for maximum speeds between 6.2mm/s and 30mm/s and maximum forces between 35N (7.8lbs) and 155N (35lbs)

Ist der P8 kleiner als der PQ12?
Yes, though it depends on how you measure it. The P8 is both narrower and shorter than the PQ12, while being slightly taller. These measurements do not account for the P8 series having an external shaft, which comes in different sizes depending on stroke length.
What is the rated duty cycle of the P8-S?
As with our other DC actuators, the P8-S series has a rated duty cycle of 20%. This exceeds most of our client's needs. If you require a higher duty cycle, have a look at our P8-ST line of micro stepper actuators.
Can I change the end tip on a P8 actuator?
